Our relationship is very settled because Bipasha is very mature. But there are pressures other than Bollywood. There is compatibility; there are other issues that are more important than just pressures from outside and I think that's something we deal with in everyday life.
When Bipasha and I argue, she always says, 'Don't treat me like your mother.' Because I am always being pampered, I need food to be served, but I am quite self-sufficient when I am alone. But, I guess you take people for granted when you know they are there. I know Bipasha is always around.

Basically, Sachin is a soft love story where I wanted an exciting element in the film. Then, we thought of Bipasha Basu. Expectations from the audience would then be high. Finally, she has become a very important character in the film. She is not there for an item number. She has a strong role in the film.
Kay Kay Menon (Actor)
Bipasha comes from a different stream of cinema. I was completely surprised and impressed by the way she carried out those emotions on her face, through her eyes. She could hold a frame without speaking a line, which shows the expertise of an actress. People might say she relates to glamour part of cinema but when it comes to performing especially in Corporate she can hold a frame without speaking a line. That is what good actors can do.
Minnisha Lamba (Actress)
She is like a dream. You have seen her in the most glamorous roles, sizzling on screen. Trust me, even in corporate suits, she looks equally hot. She is a very chilled out person. She sits on the sets with everyone and jokes and laughs. She knows everyone by their first name. She knows people's backgrounds and takes interest in people with whom she is working. She also takes interest in conversations and gets to know that person. While sharing screen space with her, I think the winner at the end will be the narrative.
Mohit Suri (Director)
I was asked to direct the song, Dekh tera deewana, in Footpath, as director Vikram Bhatt was not in town. It was at the Sea Rock Hotel, in Bandra. I was scared as I was only 20, and the choreographers were not so good. I shot the song but was extremely worried as to how it had shaped out. The most cooperative person was Bipasha. I got a call two days later from my uncle (Mukesh Bhatt), saying she had called him and told him, ‘This boy is very good. One day he will make a brilliant director’.
She always used to tell me that I would make a fine director. That was a turning point for me, and I owe Bipasha today for giving me the confidence to become a director.
In London during Zeher, she told me she loved Woh lamhe. Again this time, after Kalyug’s audio was released, she told me that Emraan’s was a ‘kick-ass video’. Bipasha is great to work with - I have never thought of her as a star.
